-Wipe front to back after urinating and after a bowel movement. (This helps prevent the spread of bacteria.)
-Urinate immediately after intercourse (This will help flush out bacteria.)
-Wear breathable fabrics and loose fitting clothes, which will allow a woman to stay dry and act as a deterrent to bacteria growth.
We can run a quick Urinalysis test which will show if there is any blood, leukocytes or protein in the urine We can also send a urine culture out to Quest Diagnostics to find out more information on what type of infection and what the best course of antibiotics will be.
